The sun shined bright as a youthful Bold team captured inspirational ideas for the future of children’s media in the UK. The Children’s Media Conference, held in Sheffield, brought together the good and the great to share the most innovative and exciting projects over the last year.

The biggest players were on hand to voice their opinions and shed light on how they see their industry shaping up. Young Bold vloggers wielded iFlip cameras to record their thoughts on the conference and the future of children’s media. Some colourful responses and ideas were recorded, including a special cameo by Henry Winkler (better known as “the Fonz”) who summed up the future of children’s media in one word: tenacity. “If you are tenacious, you will create phenomenal stuff,” Winkler said.

The conference was a massive success and the entire Bold team enjoyed sitting in on panels, interviewing attendees, and meeting the wonderful people involved in children’s media. We were both inspired and excited to see what the future holds in TV, the internet, and beyond for children’s media. Until next year’s conference!
